My research tends to conciliate or make telescope contradictory elements, spontaneity and rigour, the fortuitous and the voluntary, the subtlety of the transition and distinctness of the lines. After a long period of sober colours : ocre, green, deep blue accompanied with black and white, my palette became clearer and richer with all the colours of the rainbow.
The work arises from an impetus an idea, a leap into the unknown, a play with chance but reason arrives to bring out lines of forces to bind or isolate entities. Only a feeling of satisfaction born from a dynamic equilibrium, keeping up the quivering of colours permits us to think that the work can live by itself.
I prefer acrylic painting and natural pigments, though sometimes oils are used. Besides paper and canvas as support, panels of polyvinyle chlorure are frequently used because of their durability and their usage facilities.
